Our SAP evaluations are seamlessly available by appointment within hours, with evaluation slots open 12 hours daily. Please note that prices may vary on weekends and after 5 pm. Empowered by the Department of Transportation, our Substance Abuse Professionals are here to evaluate employees who have encountered DOT drug and alcohol regulation violations. For employees in safety-sensitive positions covered by DOT regulations, failing a drug and/or alcohol test doesn’t mean the end of the road. Our SAPs provide personalized recommendations to guide individuals back to their safety-sensitive positions. DOT SAP Evaluation Costs

Initial Evaluation

The Initial SAP evaluation is $500 – $650 (price includes final evaluation as well) and is completed online via telehealth and takes about an hour.

Education Treatment Program

As a result of this evaluation, you will be recommended education and or treatment. The cost will range from $50 to $300. This process can take as little as 5 to 10 days but depending on your recommendation could be longer.

Final Evaluation

Once you have completed all recommendations from the initial evaluation you will be scheduled for a final evaluation with your SAP. This Evaluation also takes about an hour and is completed online. After this step is completed, you be eligible to take RTD drug test. Your employer will be sent your completion letter and confidential drug testing schedule.

Here is a breakdown of the SAP Return to Duty Procedure:

In the event of a positive drug test, it will be documented as a violation, necessitating the following steps for reinstatement.
  1. Undergo the initial SAP evaluation.
  2. Fulfill all recommended requirements for education or treatment programs.
  3. Participate in a second SAP follow-up evaluation.
  4. Successfully pass the return-to-duty drug test. Employers are required to record this negative result in the Clearinghouse.
